Biohazard cleaning, handled safely and signed off properly

When a property is contaminated with blood, bodily fluids, faeces, vomit or other infectious material, a standard cleaning team isn't trained or insured to deal with it. We are. Our biohazard technicians work in full PPE, remove and consign contaminated waste as clinical waste, and decontaminate every affected surface with hospital-grade disinfectants.

Compliance and paperwork

Contaminated material from this work is classed as clinical or hazardous waste. We segregate, package and remove it through registered waste carriers, and you receive the waste transfer or consignment note, which is what your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 requires you to keep. Chemicals are used under COSHH assessments, and every job has a site-specific risk assessment and method statement.

We cover England, Scotland and Wales from our London office, with biohazard cleaning available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Biohazard cleaning: common questions

How quickly can you attend a biohazard incident?

We run a 24/7 response line. Attendance times depend on location and crew availability, and we confirm an arrival window when you call, so you can plan access and keep the area closed off.

Do you dispose of the waste?

Yes. Contaminated waste is bagged, sealed and removed as clinical waste by licensed carriers, and you receive the waste transfer paperwork for your records.

Can you work out of hours to avoid disruption?

Yes. Many commercial clients book us overnight or before opening so the area is decontaminated and reopened with minimal disruption.

Can our own cleaners deal with a bodily fluid spill?

Small, contained spills can be handled by trained staff with a proper spill kit. Anything larger, soaked into soft furnishings or flooring, or involving an unknown source should be handled by a specialist with the right PPE and waste arrangements.

Will you provide a certificate once the area is safe?

Yes. You receive a completion report with photos and, on request, ATP swab results showing the area has been decontaminated.
